Approach

How we work with you

Four stages, each with an output you can hold us to. We would rather agree the scope in writing than discover the disagreement in production.

Discovery

We start by understanding what runs today, what is failing, and what has to ship. No architecture work begins until the problem is written down.

What happens

  • Review of the systems already in place
  • Constraints, dependencies, and risks surfaced
  • Success criteria agreed in writing

Output

  • A written scope
  • Documented constraints and assumptions
  • Agreed success criteria

Architecture

Design before code. We document data flows, service boundaries, failure modes, and deployment boundaries so the build has a shape to follow.

What happens

  • Data flow and service boundaries defined
  • Integration contracts specified
  • Failure modes and degradation paths mapped

Output

  • An architecture document
  • Interface definitions
  • A sequencing plan for delivery

Build

Tests and environments are part of the build. Work lands in your environment as it is completed.

What happens

  • Application, API, and integration development
  • Tests written alongside the code
  • Environments and deployment configured

Output

  • Working software in your environment
  • A test suite you can run
  • Handover documentation

Operate

Systems need owners after launch. We put observability, release process, and escalation paths in place so problems are detectable before customers report them.

What happens

  • Logging, metrics, and alerting wired up
  • Release and rollback process established
  • Ownership and escalation defined

Output

  • Dashboards and alert rules
  • Runbooks for known conditions
  • Named ownership and escalation paths

The commitments behind it

What we hold ourselves to

These are the commitments behind the four stages. They are the reason our scopes name deliverables rather than hours.

In how we build

  • Security and operability are product requirements
  • Documented constraints before production code
  • Named modules with a concrete job each
